  5. Q. WHO IS AUTO CARS DIRECT ASSISTANCE CORP – Insurance Direct?
  6. A. Auto Cars Direct is the exclusive agent of Peoples General Insurance. Mr. Edward Dela Cruz is both on the board of People’s General Insurance and Auto Cars Direct Assistance Corp’s ‘INSURANCE DIRECT’ division.

  9. Q. CAN I CANCEL MY POLICY?
  10. A. Yes – you can cancel a policy in accordance with its Terms & Conditions – see here how to cancel your policy.
  11. Q. CAN I TRANSFER MY POLICY?
  12. A. No.
  13. Q. HOW IS MY POLICY PREMIUM CALCULATED?
  14. A. The Policy Premium is calculated on the ‘Fair Market Value’ (FMV) of your vehicle plus the level of cover you choose for; ‘Acts of Nature’, Bodily Injury (BI), Property Damage (PD), Passenger Injury (PI), Loss or damage of vehicle by third part or own damage. Our default fee is 200,000 for BI/PI and PD
  15. Q. CAN I PAY IN 3 OR 6 MONTH INSTALLMENTS?
  16. A. Yes. When you get your quote online you will be asked for Credit or Debit card payment details and if you want to make a full payment, 3 or 6 month installment payments. Installment payments are not possible using a debit card – only credit cards are accepted.
  17. Q. CAN I PAY CASH AS I DON’T HAVE A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD?
  18. A. Yes - you can choose the Over The Counter (OTC) payment option after you have accepted your online quote – details here.
  19. Q. HOW DO I GET A COPY OF MY POLICY?
  20. A. If you accept a quote and make debit/credit card payment you will immediately receive and email from us with;

    (1) Your policy with Terms & Conditions
    (2) Statement showing payment details
    (3) Insurance Certificate for your mortgagee
    (4) Road Side assist Terms & Conditions.

    You can also download your policy and supporting documents (1-4) from your insurancedirect.com.ph account using your username and password. We will send you your username and password upon paying your policy online.
  21. Q. WHAT IS A PROMO CODE?
  22. A. It’s a code made by a combination of letters and numbers (eg. LZH6751) you enter online under your quote. By entering the Promo Code in the ‘Quotation’ form, we recalculate your quote for a monetary value discount based on the percentage value as represented by the Promo Code. You will see this percentage in your immediately recalculated quote.
  23. Q. HOW DO I USE THE PROMO CODE TO GET MY DISCOUNT?
  24. A. Enter it in the Promo Code box under the quote form once you have entered your vehicle’s details.
  25. Q. HOW DO I GET A PROMO CODE?
  26. A. You may get these promo codes from our registered “Brand Ambassadors” via social media, direct referral, or by other means — the closer your relationship with a Brand Ambassador, the higher chance of getting more discount. You may also get an instant promo code from our website. Please take note that our Brand Ambassadors are not insurance agents. They cannot advise you on any insurance matter. Insurance can only be purchased on this site.
  27. Q. WILL I GET MY PROMO CODE DISCOUNT ON RENEWAL?
  28. A. Yes - we give an automatic discount each year on your policy renewal. You will never pay full retail for your car again.
  29. Q. WHY DO I GET A DISCOUNT USING A PROMO CODE?
  30. A. We do not use third party insurance brokers to market our car insurance. You are doing business directly as our name states. We use a frictionless eCommerce Internet channel to supply insurance whilst passing on savings to you, the consumer.
  31. Q. ARE PROMO CODES TRANSFERABLE?
  32. A. Yes, you can pass on Promo Codes to relatives, friends and colleagues verbally, in written form, online, by messaging App, text or by any other means.
  33. Q. ARE PROMO CODES REDEEMABLE FOR CASH?
  34. A. No. Promo Codes are insurance policy discounts only.
  35. Q. HOW DO I RENEW MY POLICY?
  36. A. You will receive a policy renewal 45 days prior to your existing policy’s expiration. You can go online to your account and renew your policy in the same way you took out the original policy.
  37. Q. HOW DO I NOTIFY IF I CHANGE ADDRESS OR MY CAR REGISTRATION OR OTHER MATERIAL CHANGES OCCUR?

  43. Q. HOW DO I MAKE AN EMAIL INQUIRY
  44. A. Contact us at inquiry@insurancedirect.com.ph and include your name, mobile number, car registration and policy number if you have one
  45. Q. WHAT IF MY CAR IS NEW AND THE LTO HAS NOT ISSUED A PLATE NUMBER
  46. A. Use your INDUCTION number and notify us of the Plate number when issued. You can notify us from your user account, through email, or call us.
  47. Q. WHAT IF I MY EXISTING POLICY WITH ANOTHER INSURER HAS NOT EXPIRED AND I WISH TO AVAIL THE PROMO CODE DISCOUNT NOW TO GET A PEOPLE’S GENERAL INSURANCE POLICY?

    We will not charge you for your policy until your chosen policy start date. There is a minimal 100 Peso fee so our payment system can automatically charge you for your policy on your chosen coverage date. The date can be up to 12 month in advance. Please note YOU WILL NOT HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE until your chosen date and your insurance premium payment has been paid using your credit/debit card or Over the Counter (OTC) payment has been effected – see here.
